I live, work and create art in Lake Country BC. I developed the love of drawing as a young girl and continued that love through my school years. As part of my post-secondary training in 1989 and 1990 I took art classes in drawing, sculpture and printmaking at the University of Alberta. In the 90’s I continued my studies through the University of Alberta Extension, Fine Art Program. I then took a break from the art world to pursue child-raising and career.
I am thankful to revisit my roots and continue to develop as an artist. For the last 6 years I have been studying acrylic painting with local artist Dani Lachuk. I have taken workshops in drawing, painting, printmaking and color through the Rotary Centre for the Arts in Kelowna, Kelowna Art Gallery and the Lake Country Art Gallery.
