My Story
I live, work and create art in Lake Country BC. I developed the love of drawing as a young girl and continued that love through my school years. As part of my post-secondary training in 1989 and 1990 I took art classes in drawing, sculpture and printmaking at the University of Alberta. In the 90’s I continued my studies through the University of Alberta Extension, Fine Art Program.
I am thankful to revisit my roots and continue to develop as an artist. For the last 20 years I have been studying acrylic painting and have been developing as an artist. I have taken workshops and classes in drawing, painting, printmaking, paint pouring and color through the Rotary Centre for the Arts in Kelowna, Kelowna Art Gallery and the Lake Country Art Gallery and in private art studios.
